PHILANTHROPY
Furniture for Schools in Sierra Leone
Through Koi For Good, I've raised over $8,000 to furnish schools in rural Sierra Leone, supporting children from marginalized communities displaced by unethical mining practices.
HOW IT STARTED
In 2017, my family moved from the UK to the United States. This marked a turning point in my lifelong passion for aquaculture, which began at age four when I received my first 10 gallon aquarium.
In 2019, I designed and built a 5,000 gallon pond, and I invested my savings in filtration equipment, plants, and koi. Over time, these fish became more than pets; I connected with their unique personalities, dedicating countless hours to their care and observing their growth.
I have turned this passion into a charitable venture, Koi For Good, a scientific and philanthropic mission to harness the power of koi to make a positive impact in the world.
